Choirs

Do you sing? We have several opportunities to be involved in choir at GPC. Do you play handbells or want to learn? We have a handbell choir!

 

Preschool Choir: (ages 2-5 years old)

All children enrolled in our preschool department become part of the Preschool Choir. During the preschool worship segment of preschool Sunday school, the children sing age appropriate worship songs and prepare to sing for the congregation twice a year.

Season: Year round
Rehearsals: Every Sunday during Sunday school class time
Performances: Mother's Day and Christmas time

TLC Choir: (grades 1-6)

For those who enjoy singing or want to learn to sing this is a wonderful opportunity to minister to the congregation through the gift of song for the elementary ages.

Season: September – May
Rehearsals: Sunday rehearsals
Performances: Sunday mornings 1x per month

Cathedral Choir: (adult choir)

Season: September – May
Rehearsals: Thursday evening rehearsals 7:30-9:00 pm
Performances: Sunday morning worship service (most weekends)

Festival Choir: (adult choir)

Season: seasonal choir involvement
Rehearsals: TBA depending on schedule for seasons
Performances: Christmas, Easter, Pentecost, other special/seasonal events.

Gospel Choir: (Junior High – Adult)

Overview: The past two years we have gathered a gospel choir for the Pentecost season. This is an opportunity to sing and be involved even if you think you can’t read music.
Season: Pentecost
Rehearsals: approx 6 weeks leading up to Pentecost
Performances: Sunday service and Wednesday Worship Encounter during Pentecost
