Welcome to the GPC High School Ministry Page

We call ourselves Kinetic. Kinetic is a group of high schoolers who share life together. We have our major trips such as Houseboats during the summer and Winter Camp Retreat during the winter. In the midst of this we often find ourselves going to Dodgers games, gathering for pool parties, going bowling, heading to the theater for a movie, grilling out at the park and so on. During the school year we meet on Wednesday evenings at 7 pm in the Subway.

 Mid-Week Wednesday
6 pm - Eat together in the Subway
7-9 pm - Meet in the Well-Room

The calendar for Kinetic can be found at http://web.mac.com/geojax/Site/Home.html. Sunday mornings we meet at 9 am in the Subway. Join us for small group discussions. This is a great time to get to know people on a more personal level.

On top of all of this, our leadership team loves to share life with you right where you are at.  We are always ready to grab lunch, coffee, Pinkberry, etc.  We can talk about life, friends, parents, God or just hang out.  Life can be a mixture of pleasure & pain. We understand this and want to walk along side you as you explore your own personal journey.

Looking Ahead

High School Winter Retreat

What's it all about?  Good question...  Ice Skating, Helping those in need, i.e. Door of Hope, Worship, late night chatting, Great food, and...  are you ready for this...  well, it's actually a surprise.  No that's not right, it should be plural, surprises.  I'm very excited about these surprise elements so don't miss it.

Confirmation

Begins with the Winter Retreat, Feb 17-19.
Continues for 8 more Sunday Sessions and wraps up on Confirmation Sunday, May 6.  This is our every two-year confirmation process so get in on the action.  Open to 9th grade through 21 years-old (for college students who have not gone through the process)
