Women's Ministry "Connections"

Every woman needs time with friends, time for creativity, a place to accomplish something meaningful, or a time to get out and have some fun, but none of us has time to waste. This is the whole focus of this new ministry. Connections will offer something for just about every woman at Glendale Presbyterian Church – and on her terms, too! Come and be a part of this dynamic women’s ministry at Glendale Presbyterian Church! All you have to do to get connected is call the contact person who is listed on each group. You determine if, when, and how often to participate. Only a few Connections require a specific time commitment.

Sewing and Quilting Group

This group meets on the 2nd Saturday of the month from 9:00 - 3:00 pm in the Glendale Presbyterian Church Family Room. Plan for some good stitching time with friends that will include a bit of instruction, suggested projects from time to time and wonderful fellowship.We will either have a potluck lunch or brown bag lunch.  If you have a sewing machine and love to sew, quilt or stitch on fabric, join us! Book Club

Christians Practicing Yoga

Class meets throughout the year

Wednesday evenings 6:15 to 7:30 pm every week.

Christ-centered stretching and strengthening uses the physical poses of yoga to support health of body, mind and spirit. Basic principles of optimal alignment, breathing and body awareness will be taught. All levels of yoga experience are welcome. Please bring a yoga mat, water and towel.

Suggested fee: $80 for the series or $15 per class drop in rate. Volunteer support scholarships available. Please ask for assistance if finances are limited. Community Bible Study

Women, come study the Book of Revelation! Community Bible Study, a 30 week, Women's In-Depth, non-denominational Bible study, starts up Thursday, Sept. 15 from 9:30-11:30 am and will run through May 17. We meet in the Family Room at GPC.
