We appreciate and welcome your interest in GPC Preschool. We are conveniently located in central Glendale and provide a safe and nurturing environment for children ages 2.9 years through entry into first grade.
Our goal is to share the love of Jesus Christ with families by providing a program where children are encouraged in their social, emotional, physical, cognitive and spiritual development. We offer a variety of exciting programs in developmentally appropriate age groups and maintain a 10 to 1 teacher to student ratio for our classrooms.

What will my child do in Preschool?
Depending on the program your child is enrolled in, he or she will be with us for different spans of time. We promise to encourage and care for your child during the time you entrust to us.
A typical day will include activities and experiences that will nurture the individual child's social, emotional, physical, intellectual and spiritual development. Arts and crafts, stories, singing, water play, cooking, indoor and outdoor games are incorporated into the children's learning. Our school day offers times of structured activity, where teacher direction is utilized, as well as unstructured activities, where the teacher's role is to facilitate the interest of the child or children. This combination allows for the child to both learn the basic skills and also explore and express their own skills and talents.
When is the Preschool open?
Our school generally follows the same calendar as the Glendale Unified School District. Our regular school year begins in August and ends in June. For 2012, we have two summer sessions: Summer Travel June 18-July 6 and Summer Olympics July 16-August 3. Please contact the office, 818-242-2660, for more information about Summer School. From July 9-13, Glendale Presbyterian Church runs a Vacation Bible School for children ages 3 to entering 2nd grade. Registration for this is handled seperately.
