Seminar: Healing the Wounds of Trauma

In the wake of the LA fires, BridgesUS is offering a seminar as a big step to help you to be a meaningful trauma healing listener and conversation facilitator. The program is a guide for lay people to gather small groups of people so that they can talk about their trauma and God’s role in both the trauma and the healing process. The program trainers aren't professional counselors or psychologists. The program is not intended to take the place of professional counseling or therapy. It is just one part of the healing journey. Program Trainers:

• Rachel Weller will be leading the training from the Trauma Healing Institute. Rachel was first trained herself after a genocide took place where she was serving in Ethiopia as a missionary of the Presbyterian Church USA.
• We will also be led by professional drummer Daniel Petersen. First ministering in his home in South Africa, Danny uses drumming to help people heal from trauma and now serves here in the Los Angeles area.
