Home Again LA formerly (Family Promise) is an amazing ministry that we’re proud to be a part of. Through Home Again LA, GPC houses 1-4 families for a week, providing shelter, meals, and fellowship. They arrive Sunday, around 5 pm. During the evening we feed them dinner and make lunch for the following day while we fellowship with them. The following morning they wake up around 6-6:30 am, and GPC provides a breakfast table for them to start their day. Then the cycle repeats until the following Sunday.
This is all made possible with the help of volunteers and donations. Volunteers are needed to cook or provide meals, serve meals, fellowship with our guests, and be overnight hosts. Please email Joseph Martinez at firstname.lastname@example.org with any date and area in which you're willing to share your gifts and talents with these homeless families in need. Please remember no help is too little, so if you can’t volunteer to help, spreading the word amongst your friends, family, and co-workers counts. We realize your time is valuable & sincerely appreciate your help to end homelessness one family at a time!
In January and June, we serve lunch on Sundays to those experiencing hunger and homelessness in the neighborhood. Join us next time!

Through members of the congregation, we have had the honor of collecting home goods items and furniture to give directly to Afghan refugee families being resettled here in Los Angeles.
